Hi Mr. Lucas. I am a BIG fan of Star Wars. I was thinking since the whole Star Wars saga is about Anakin. Don't make Episode 7 through out. It gets away from the plot.
George Lucas: Whether Episode 7 ever gets made is up to the fans. If Revenge of the Sith is the biggest hit film in 2005, then we will move forward with Episode 7. If the fans let me down and Revenge of the Sith is not as successful as I would like, then we will close the door on the Star Wars films. Box-office failure will prove that there is no longer sufficient interest in Star Wars to justify making yet another trilogy.

I have a short list of directors who I would like to see direct the sequels [Episodes 7-9]. These directors are James Cameron, Ridley Scott and David Fincher.
