The time seemed suspended in the silent cockpit, lit by the strange light of the whirlwind of hyperspace. Many sensors and electronic flight controls had burned and the generator was set to minimal power to avoid undergoing the same fate, plunging the vessel into darkness. Each one held his breath, looking at the unusual figures in front of the vessel, hoping that the life support systems would hold out. Whereas the lights of the modified navcomputer, completely overrun by the contradictory informations, flashed desperately, the vessel pursued its crazy flight towards a fabulous spring of light side, a secrete base, a friend to save, and an enemy to face.
